Kimberly Armstrong, NP

Kim Armstrong, NP, provides advanced nursing care for adults with acute or chronic conditions with integrity and compassion. She guides patients through healthcare challenges by building trust, fostering open communication, and working collaboratively to create care plans grounded in evidence-based medicine and strengthened by human connection.

A certified adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner (American Association of Nurse Practitioners), Armstrong has experience treating hospitalized veterans with chronic illnesses and comorbidities, homebound patients with hard-to-heal wounds, and seniors who need post-acute care. Improving the quality of life for patients requiring medical care is her passion. Recognizing that each patient brings a unique set of circumstances, beliefs and goals, she approaches patient care with empathy, cultural sensitivity and respect for each person's journey.

Armstrong diagnoses, treats and manages chronic comorbidities such as:

  • High blood pressure (hypertension)
  • Diabetes
  • Thyroid disorders
  • High cholesterol (hyperlipidemia)

By caring for patients in a comprehensive, thoughtful way that considers all aspects of their health, she helps people restore their health. Similarly, one of Armstrong’s favorite hobbies is refurbishing furniture that she finds at antique stores.

Armstrong earned both her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. She and her husband live in East Texas.
