Dr. Cody M. Tingle, MD

Cody M. Tingle, MD, graduated from C.E. Byrd High School and LSU Shreveport where he majored in cell and molecular biology. He began his medical studies at Northumbria University in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, where he received a Diploma of Higher Education with Commendation in Medical Sciences. He continued his medical studies at St. George’s University Medical School in Grenada, West Indies. 

Tingle completed training clerkships in various specialties that included internal medicine at Long Island Medical College Hospital in New York City. He completed an internal medicine residency at LSU Health Shreveport and became certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Tingle is a member of Shreveport Medical Society, American College of Physicians and American College of Gastroenterology.  

Tingle began his medical career as a hospitalist where he worked with acute care patients during their hospital stays. He became interested in offering his patients continuity of care throughout their life, which led to his current clinical practice at Internal Medicine Associates at WK Pierremont Health Center in Shreveport.
